Flat Stanley Tours the World!
Our class read and enjoyed reading Flat Stanley. Flat Stanley is a funny story about a boy who is flattened by his bulletin board. He has many adventures being flat. On one of his adventures he goes to visit a friend in an envelope. He can travel in an envelope because he is flat. Many schools around the world started sending out copies of Flat Stanley in an effort to teach letter writing, map, math and language art skills. We in Room 38 jumped at the chance to do this as well. Last month we sent out over 30 Flat Stanley's to many locations in the United States as well as to many places outside of the U.S.
As our Flat Stanley's return, we will be posting about their travels.
Stay tuned...

Flat Stanley should be en route to you back from his NYC trip, as well.
It was fun hosting him!
