Our first Flat Stanley made it back to Wakefield today! This Flat Stanley traveled to La Verne, California. Why did this Flat Stanley go to La Verne? He went to visit Mrs. Davis' second grade class. Mrs. Davis is Ms. V's auntie!
Mrs. Davis' class invited Flat Stanley to join them on Pumpkin Day. Pumpkin Day is a fun filled day that is all about pumpkins!!! Flat Stanley and the kids measured and weighed pumpkins. They also scooped out the inside of the pumpkins and counted the seeds inside of their pumpkins. What a sticky adventure!!! To commemorate his trip, Flat Stanley received a special Halloween pumpkin button to wear on his shirt. How special.
Flat Stanley enjoyed his trip to Southern California. He can't wait to travel down that way again. many thanks to Mrs. Davis and her students for hosting our flat friend.
